Agios Georgios beach

Agios Georgios beach is located about 30 kilometers southwest of Corfu Town. Do not confuse it with the homonymous one located in the north. The bay is located in the village of Agios Georgios, one of the most lively and lively areas of the island of Corfu, with 10 kilometers of beautiful and equipped beaches. It has sandy dunes to explore and soft soft sand washed by an incredibly transparent and crystalline sea. Its backdrops are gently degrading, therefore suitable for children. Agios Georgios is as if it had two faces: by day it is the perfect place for families with children and for those who want a lot of relaxation from a stay on the beach. In the evening, however, it becomes the perfect paradise for young people and nightlife lovers.

In addition to bars and discos Agios Georgios also offers the necessary comforts for those who wish to relax; sun beds and umbrellas, showers and bars where you can have a nice refreshing drink or nibble on a snack. There are also establishments for those wishing to practice water sports or for those who want to rent a boat and explore the nearby bays independently. Near the beach there are also taverns where you can taste excellent fresh fish or other specialties of Greek cuisine, shops where you can buy souvenirs or gifts and several markets available for any need, the latter are located on the main road leading to Agios Georgios.

How do I get to Agios Georgios beach?

To get to Agios Georgios from the airport and from Corfu Town it will take about 45 minutes by car. But once you get there you will understand how much it was worth three quarters of an hour of travel!
