How do you reach Agios Ioannis beach?

Agios Ioannis beach is located just after Lefkada City in a north west direction. If instead we are in Agios Nikitas we are about 12 kilometers (20 minutes by car), in Nydri we are 18 kilometers (25 minutes by car) and if you are staying in Vasiliki we are 40 kilometers (one hour by car).

The parking for your car is large and close to the beach, therefore very convenient.

Is Agios Ioannis beach equipped?

The wide beach of Agios Ioannis is absolutely equipped with sun beds and umbrellas (€ 6 per day) and is characterized by the presence of old mills behind it.

In the morning the sea is quite calm, so it is really perfect for a nice and relaxing swim (especially on the opposite side of the stone mills there are lovely sea traits)

Around 2 pm both the wind and kite surfer lovers arrive and crowd the beach with their colorful sails.

It will be a pleasure to look upwards and admire the jumps and stunts of these young sportsmen who find their best friend in the wind.

The beach is mainly of small pebbles and the sea has the inevitable cobalt color that characterizes all the beaches of the island of Lefkada; a real trademark!
