The beach of Agios Prokopios is located 5 kilometers from the capital and is one of the most famous beaches of the whole island of Naxos, it is also considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.
The long coastline of golden sand stretches for about 1.5 kilometers, is bathed in crystal clear waters with infinite shades and is protected from the strong winds that usually blow on the island.
A part of the beach is equipped and the various beaches offer 1 beach umbrella and 2 deck chairs at prices ranging from 10 to 20 € per day, and you can also rent various water sports equipment. The other part is instead left to its natural beauty, it is in fact totally devoid of tourist services.
Sandy dunes gently border this beautiful beach and hide a small village behind it, full of hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes.Agios Prokopios is easily accessible by buses that depart frequently from the capital, Naxos Town, or from Hora.
