Vromolimnos Beach

Vromolimnos beach is located 6 kilometers south-west of Skiathos Town , along the southern coast of the island of Skiathos.

It has a long and narrow golden and soft beach of about 7 kilometers and a clear emerald sea. All around you can admire the lush vegetation that grows on the hills and gives a little green to the beach! Thanks to the latter, the beach remains very protected from the feared Greek winds. Its shallow water for several meters and its calm waters allow families with children to relax without worries.

Vromolimnos is considered one of the most elegant beaches on the island of Skiathos!

Is Vromolimnos beach equipped?

The beach of Vromolimnos offers an equipped area where there are hire of sunbeds and umbrellas for € 8 a day, a tavern where you can enjoy excellent fresh fish or a nice dish based on Greek cuisine and a water sports center. Water sports enthusiasts will love Vromolimnos and here they can practice water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing and much more.

On the bay you will also find bars with background music where you can sip a cocktail or a soft drink and have a nice aperitif, a beach volleyball court for those who want to have fun on the beach and a small shop to buy some souvenirs. In the tavern and in the bar, after the drink, you can take advantage of the shower for free.

For those who prefer a rest more in contact with nature, you can go to the free area and enjoy the peace, with only the sound of the waves of the sea (which is still, a nice "sound"). And for those who don't like being under the umbrella for too long, there are relaxing ponds nearby to visit.

Especially at sunset, you will notice that the beach begins to come alive with young people who have come here to take part in all-night beach parties: it is certainly not the time to leave ... in fact ... take the opportunity to enjoy the sunset: a good aperitif and good music, they will be the perfect mix to round off, a superlative day here at Vromolimnos beach!

An advice!

If you want to admire Vromolimnos beach with a quiet atmosphere and no tourists, then we recommend that you come here early in the morning. Already around 10.30 the beach begins to be populated so after that time it will no longer be possible for you to admire it as nature has done it and enjoy its peace and beauty.
Come here around 8.00-8.30 and take the opportunity to have a rich breakfast under the umbrella, a long walk and you will see what a show!

How to reach Vromolimnos beach?

The Vromolimnos beach can be reached either by car or by bus. If you decide to use the bus you will need to take it from Skiathos Town, get off at stop number 13 and then walk for a few meters. Keep in mind though that with the bus the return could be a little more uncomfortable due to its crowding, especially in the classic return times from the beach. This is why we advise you either to get there by car, or to return soon, while most people still remain on the beach.

Needless to say, the car or scooter is the absolute best! Maximum freedom of schedules and maximum freedom to stop for a photo with some glimpses to remember!

Getting lost Vromolimnos would be a great pity. This beach is suitable for everyone: young people, couples, families with children .. in short, anyone can relax and have fun here. Comfort and magic, that's what Vromolimnos beach is!
