Welcome to the widest beach in Skiathos: the beach of Koukounaries.
This beach is among the largest on the island and hosts several bathing establishments equipped with sun beds and umbrellas (€ 8 per day), bars, taverns, restaurants, pedal boat rentals, canoes and jet skis for a day immersed in maximum comfort and where nothing is missing.
The sea is spectacular, the sand is among the finest and softest you can imagine, the water slopes gently, behind it there is a fabulous pine forest and on windy days it remains one of the favorite beaches for tourists, for its being very repaired.
Koukounaries beach may not be perfect for you if you love wild and exotic beaches. In fact, compared to the other small beaches of the island of Skiathos where there are only a few sunbeds and perhaps a small bar that serves fresh drinks, here in Koukounaries everything is at hand, with the possibility of having drinks, snacks and lunch brought directly below the beach umbrella.
In any case, whatever your taste may be, if you pass by the beach of Koukounaries before 11 am, you can enjoy a good breakfast in peace and maybe even a nice relaxing bath.
