The beach of Ligaries is perfect if you are looking for a wild beach that is not too touristy.
No coincidence that there is no public bus and to get there you will have about 8 km of feasible dirt road (maybe better with a car, but even with a scooter you can do). Keep in mind that we are on the north coast of the island of Skiathos and like all the north coast it remains a little more subject to the winds.
After about 40 minutes of travel from Skiathos Town, you will arrive at the beach of Ligaries which at first seems uncontaminated, but it will be sufficient to wait until 11 am to see the first tourists arriving already looking for a beach a little more secluded than to the most known.
The sun beds and umbrellas service is accompanied by a tavern that offers delicious fresh fish dishes !!
The beach of Ligaries has some pebbles, while the sea past the first stretch of the shore, returns to have a pleasantly sandy bottom.
Do not miss a photo on the way back from the vantage point where there is a bench now famous and photographed, with a cobalt blue background and a lot of nature all around, for a frame the memory of a super relaxing day.
